| The angles of a triangle are in AP(Arithmetic Progression) and the greatest angle is double the least. What is the ratio of angles in the radian measure ?

A. 2 : 3 : 4

B. 1 : 2 : 3

C. 3 : 4 : 6

D. 4 : 5 : 7

### Right Answer is: A

#### SOLUTION

Let the angles be a, a + d, a + 2d

But

and

Reqd. ratio

The ratio in degrees and radians would be the same

Hence Option A is correct

**Method-2**

Let angles are A, B and C.

Now according to the question,

A : C = 1 : 2

also A, B and C are in A. P so if the difference of A. P. is x,

A : B : C = 1 : 1 + x : 1 + 2x

we can say that,

2x= 1 ⇒ x =1/2

so the ratio becomes,

A : B : C = 1 : 1.5 : 2 ⇒ 2 : 3 : 4
